Event delayed: Can Blockchain help Prevent Human Trafficking?

This event is the brainchild of our founder, Chris Kiritz who has been carefully nurturing it since early 2018, and it is still being incubated (the brainchild, that is!) until it is more fully developed.

The date and details will be posted as soon as it is finalized, but expect it to be a summer #techforgood baby like Chris. The date posted on this page (above) is not necessarily the one to buy a ticket for yet, so look for an announcement later this year (yes, 2019)! Thanks for caring about this potentially useful technology to add to finding more ways to prevent human trafficking and decrease human suffering in the world.

It has become evident recently, that there are ways that blockchain can potentially INCREASE suffering in the world if misapplied by technologists and practitioners in ways that can cause serious complications and even danger for vulnerable populations who do not need or want blockchain (yes, this is a surprise to some)!

Please disregard the premature announcement/s of this event as happening earlier this year, and check back later for more info. Thank you.

Earlier Event: April 28
Come celebrate our 19th Anniversary!
